When using written communication, you want to make sure you think through the message carefully and make sure the message is clear and conveys the right message to the recipient. Just like when communicating verbally, you may type something that makes sense to you, but is not as clear when read aloud by the recipient. A positive aspect of written communication includes the ability to prove your message, unlike written communication.
