Lesson planning is an essential part of the teaching-learning process. Proper classroom planning will keep teachers organized and on track while teaching. This leads them to teach more, help students achieve their goals more easily, and manage less. If the teacher is well prepared, the better he or she will be able to handle whatever happens in the classroom environment. Looking at the structure of the lesson plan, I find that it is sequenced in a developmentally appropriate manner. It focuses on one aspect at a time. Firstly, it focuses on learners' listening and speaking skills, where learners concentrate and use their speaking skills while enjoying storytelling. Subsequently, the educator focuses on phonetics where learners review the digraphs. This allows learners to summarize their knowledge. Third, they shared readings. This is where learners will read aloud or in groups guided by the educator so that she can provide the necessary support or feedback to the learners. Finally, after gaining knowledge from previous work and observing sentence structures while reading, learners will then have the opportunity to write sentences on a particular topic. I believe the phoneme can also add important structure to lesson planning and instructional delivery. As shown in the lesson plan, the educator uses a storybook that she reads and the learners must listen and then answer the questions. The lesson plan also mentions the use of worksheets. A worksheet is also a resource because it can provide important opportunities for a student to practice a new skill learned in class. This form of resource facilitates the learning process by allowing the student to explore knowledge independently and allowing repetition. Learning materials, whatever their type, all have a function for the student.
