    During the 21st century, the world has witnessed massive technological developments. Almost everyone is familiar with using digital gadgets for communication, socializing, and data storage, among other services (Freedman 02). The inventions of electronic devices that can be used to store, send, receive and access any information are the result of technological advancements. These developments belong to the category of information and communications. Many people in today's world make the mistake of thinking that today's technological advancements are the only things happening in the world. However, ultimately, people experienced technological advancements as early as the Neolithic period, affecting almost every aspect of life. These old technologies have eventually become outdated by time, as new technologies appear to be more efficient. in carrying out similar tasks. Emerging technologies can be seen as innovations and advancements observable in different technological sectors (Zelkowitz 6). Most upcoming technologies have synchronized previous developments, making them work together to achieve a similar goal. A good example of this is how video, data, and telephone technologies have now been designed to work together to achieve the same goal of effective communication (Zelkowitz 12). All of these technologies once existed completely on their own, but not anymore. Scientists have developed different social services that connect people with each other in a form of social media. Examples of these applications include: Twitter; Facebook, Vine and Instagram, among others. We need to accept that everything has its pros and cons, and move on. All we need is to look for ways to preserve our cultures and history and basic education, whether there are emerging technologies or not.
