Essay / What is Field Observation Observation - 1000
During my observations, I noticed a humanistic existence when the teacher gives options to students. This theory suggests that students will learn what they need and want and, as I mentioned previously for Darian, learning happens at one's seat during one's time rather than on the mat while reading or group work. As for existentialism, this is perceptible in the classroom when students exercise their freedom of choice. Usually, Ms. Diaz gives her students choices, such as writing about what we read or drawing about what we read, giving students a sense of independence and partnership when it comes to their education. Students typically start their day by setting daily goals in class, which again allows them to make choices.
