    Sometimes officers make mistakes and may choose not to record because if they record they will be penalized for their actions. Additionally, agents can edit captured videos and images or even completely delete the entire content. Additionally, when the recording cameras face the officer and focus only on the civilian's side, the officers' actions cannot be seen from the camera. As the Harvard Law Review article states, body cameras always record images from the officer's point of view (“Considering Body Cameras”). If the recorded content is disrupted or poorly recorded, then what exactly is happening will not be revealed. Therefore, police body cameras are not the appropriate remedy for law enforcement.
