  • Essay / The Legend of El Chupacabra - 1156

The Legend of El Chupacabra has been around for many years now and is almost becoming more and more credible. There have been many sightings and detailed descriptions of the appearance of this beast. Many say it is about three feet tall, has large red eyes, and shriveled, hairless skin ("National Geographic Society"). Even though there are multiple facts and sightings that could potentially prove that this creature is real, some still don't believe it. There are scientists and researchers going out every day trying to learn more about this creature, with all this effort put in it is very hard to believe that it is not real. There are many facts to prove that she is real, the stories themselves prove it, now it's time to convince everyone why they should believe in this furless beast. In order to prove to everyone that this creature is real, stories must be told. in order to convince them. The first sightings of this creature began around 1995, when a man noticed the strange behavior of his animals on his farm in Puerto Rico. He really didn't understand why they were acting strange that night, even though they seemed very scared of something. The next morning he woke up to find his two goats dead, and the next two nights he began searching for the cause of the accident. One night he saw a creature that was the perfect description of what we now call the Chupacabra. The name Chupacabra literally means "goat sucker", so from that day on, research began and still continues in Central America and even the United States ("Unique Facts about Mexico: Chupacabra"). This is just one of the countries that have been affected by this animal and something tells me it won't be the last. It is a fact that the paw...... middle of paper...... It made its way to England and Illinois. Finally, even though some people don't believe in this legend, it should definitely be taken into account and never given up because one day something horrible could happen and everyone would have no idea. This beast is incredible at what it does, and after all these stories, we can conclude that this creature is real. Works Cited “Animal Planet.” Animal planet. Np, and Web.
