Essay / Comparison Essay Fahrenheit 451 - 670
In this essay I will cover the books Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451 and 1984. I will explain how these three books all tell the same story of humanity and nature human. , while telling how the author achieved this. The book Fahrenheit 451 is set in a futuristic version of America in which the main protagonist Guy Montag is a firefighter who sets fire to books. In the story, firefighters start fires rather than put them out. Montag doesn't question his job or why he does it until he meets a young girl who is not like everyone else named Clarisse. His role in the story is to show Montag what the true meaning of life is and not to conform but to think for yourself. It deals with human nature because humans prefer to live in stupidity with false happiness and turn their backs on the problems of life. world rather than living in reality because they decided it was easier to do so than to actually face the problems of their world. As with Mildred and her "family", she uses the TVs on the wall to talk to those she thinks are her family, but who are really just random people and she is really all alone. They accept things as they are and close their minds to things they don't want to hear or see. Montag is one of the few who questions the world after meeting this young girl. Once he has awakened to reality, he can no longer live happily in the world of forgetfulness and lies. In the second book, Brave New World, "depicts a futuristic society in which the individual is sacrificed for the state, science is used to control, and all forms of art and history are banned." In this book, they use the power of soma to control the citizens. If you're off the beaten track, they can just inject it into you and you'll be calm. Drugs, middle of paper, really only show bad things happening because that's what people want to see, but also because it causes them to be afraid of their surroundings. The government would rather you stay home than have you running around in the street, potentially doing something you're not supposed to do. So in conclusion, these books all basically tell the same story of a dystopian future in which the government is trying to take control of them. And each book has parts that become true in today's society, like Fahrenheit 451. People start reading less and watching TV more, like Mildred. In 1984, the government is trying to monitor us every second of our lives through our phones, our televisions or our internet history. And in Brave New World we have a similar class system and the government tries to censor a lot of the text/news we receive and ban it..
