Throughout her life, Thatcher managed to transform the lives of many people. It was obvious from the start that Thatcher would soon begin to influence life in the modern world. Margaret Thatcher contributed to the history, art and culture of Britain through women's rights, the end of socialism and the revitalization of the British economy. In her early years, Margaret attended Oxford University; he specialized in gin chemistry and later went on to study law (The Path). During this time, Margaret was unable to find work due to companies' reluctance to hire women; which made it a difficulty for Thatcher. Soon after, she began working for tax lawyers.
