Essay / Comparison with Adolf Hitler - 812
There is nothing like the Holocaust. – Fidel Castro The Holocaust resulted in the massacre of more than six million Jews. The leader of this massacre was Adolf Hitler. He becomes the leader of Nazi Germany. He wanted to exterminate European Jews. Hitler's desire for a "master race" destroyed many lives in concentration camps and even brutal murders in the streets. Hitler's life was very interesting. He was born at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of April 20, 1889 and was born in the small Austrian village of Braun Au Am Inn, just across the German border. He was the third child of Alois and Klara Hitler. He moved around a lot as a child. He started off well at school, but continued to get worse. His father died when he was fourteen and his mother when he was eighteen. He was living in Munich, Germany, in 1913, and was still there when World War I broke out in August 1914. He served in the Army for four years. Later, he joined a political party and became its leader. It changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers' Party, later called the Nazi Party. Hitler wanted to take power, like you are trying to take power from the president. He ended up serving nine months in prison. During this period, he wrote a book that later became Nazi Germany's second Bible. When he came out, he came to power legally. He was appointed Chancellor of Germany by President von Hindenburg on January 30, 1933. One of the 25 points of the Nazi powers was to expel the Jews from Germany. His new plan to exterminate the Jews was adopted by a large part of the German population. This made it easier for Hitler now that he had most of the Germans on his side. Hitler hated the Jews. Hitler and the Nazis believed that the Jews were the reason they lost World War I... middle of paper ...... to remove Hitler from power. By the end of the war, between 50,000 and 100,000 people lived and occupied Europe. The number of survivors rose to 200,000 after a year. Prisoners had to slowly return to their homes and families if they were still alive. When Allied forces finally took control of Germany in 1945, Adolf Hitler knew he was defeated. Adolf Hitler committed suicide in April 1945 before the Allies had a chance to capture him. After Hitler, many Nazis also committed suicide. Even if Hitler thought he could change the "master race", he could not. The concentration camps killed many people, but many survived. The Holocaust changed the world. There will be nothing like the holocaust. There will be no one as cruel as Hitler and the Nazis. In conclusion, I believe Hitler realized he made the wrong choices.
