    Senior Economist. The key role of my work is to provide high-quality economic advice to enable well-balanced and informed policy judgments. I am also required to analyze competition and regulatory issues and concerns and apply standard economic analysis to conduct investigations and inform regulatory and deregulatory decisions. This role will involve drafting and presenting policy proposals and economic advice to the Board of Directors. Provides oversight of the administration and research activities of an office's economic analysis function; review staff work assignments, plan projects and activities as well as prioritize projects to ensure work is completed in a timely and orderly manner. Another thing expected is the guarantee of the production of proposals and decision documents, which means being responsible for the quality of the team's output and ensuring that it adopts best practices in management and control of the program. A consistent economic approach was applied to different projects, which involved leading meetings with external stakeholders. The main economic decisions required of a person performing the role of senior economist in an organization are to autonomously analyze and make recommendations for the solution of very complex business problems. management issues related to the analysis of economic indicators of the region and factors affecting operations and planning of public services. Incumbents are required to demonstrate judgment and originality in analyzing complex issues involving data from multiple sources and many variables. Another skill is willingness to learn, regardless of my age or experience, there should be a constant willingness to learn new techniques or skills as jobs are constantly changing and evolving, so showing openness to learning and growing is another skill I need. in order to be successful and given that I studied in the UK for most of my life and didn't really know the culture of my country when it came to things like company loyalty or what how employees feel when they have a younger person as their boss to things such as religion (this plays a very important role in where you find a job and how you relate to others), knowing the culture will definitely a good skill considering I am going to return to Nigeria after graduating and working there.
