  • Essay / Book or film: which best describes the theme?

With the constant streaming of new movies and TV shows available, movie fans tend to watch them for pleasure. They see an entertaining film about conflict that arouses in them a sense of adventure. But do they really understand what the film can teach viewers? In today's society, themes get lost in entertainment. However, books have grown to do what a movie does and much more. In this way, books bring life to everyone who reads them. When a person reads a book, he or she is fascinated by the plot. They need to understand and understand to complete the book and make sense of it. Movies can simply be watched idly, without drawing attention or intellect. For this reason, the films leave no impression. They taper off until they close, and then they're done. People may spend time after the movie ranting or praising the writers with their friends, but after a few days all that is gone. The books, on the other hand, stay with them. It takes them more than a few hours to complete and reach the climax. Readers spend more time with these characters than with those in a movie, even though they are the same characters doing the same things. From the books, readers learn the character's thoughts, actions, reasoning, and intentions instead of just their actions and partial reasoning. This develops their personality and morality more clearly, so it is easy to understand and criticize them. The characters come to life in the reader's mind and bring new life to the person. With this new life to connect to, it leads to a better understanding of the themes the book is trying to relay. Themes are the backbone and soul of a book. Writing a book that doesn't teach you anything would be pointless. Even if it is a simple t......middle of paper......realistic or fair. Part of the painting is missing, in certain places, which leaves the feeling that something does not fit. A book gives life and wholeness to the reader. This is all well and good, because books have the particularity of being able to create an image that suits each specific reader. A film has an image made by someone else. No personal imagination is there and never can be. No matter how wonderful or amazing a movie may seem, compared to the book version, it will always come second because of how much it cannot bring to the viewers. Books bring the written word to life in a way that a film cannot. It doesn't matter how you shoot a movie. A film cannot capture the essence it is trying to reproduce. It will only fail and leave you disappointed in the ending. If one of them were to disappear, no one would miss the cinema if books could replace them all.
