March 03, 2016.The first source I selected was my journal assignment. The Journal's assignment gave an in-depth look at the Buffalo Riot of 1967. My second source was a book about Dr. King being shot. Since Dr. King made a great impression on the American people during the Civil War. It would make perfect sense to use this book as a background document. My last source was the web. Did I find information on all the riots that took place during the civil war. Using the CRAPP test, I was able to choose this website as good information about the riots. Information literacy is an important skill for the 21st century, given our busy and always-on-the-go schedules. Recognizing when information is needed and being able to effectively locate, accurately evaluate, use effectively, and clearly communicate information will be helpful when time is of the essence and information is needed. What I learned from this mission was what life was like. for African Americans during the Civil War. I also learned how to properly cite journals, books, and websites. I learned how to find journals using the online library site at Washburn edu and had to go get help finding one
