In recent years, technology has evolved rapidly. It has influenced people's social lives, business and education, their interactions, communications, work and leisure. Thousands of devices have been developed recently to influence people's activities and make their lives easier. Smartphones, tablets, cameras and scanners now act as separate computing devices. An article published by Sandhyarani N. (2011) states that “the current global era is the consequence of the computer age” (p.1). As a result, computers have become important machines used in every field and walk of life today. Almost all of our daily routines are designed and managed by computers such as cars, traffic lights and medical equipment. Additionally, Internet and computer users can read and send e-mail, read news, observe stock prices, shop online, communicate, conduct electronic searches, learn online, and create a online business. Therefore, computers and the Internet have become one of the essential sources for most people to acquire recent knowledge. Moreover, people have access to the most fashionable and sensitive electronic devices at lower cost thanks to the development of information technology. However, there are some concerns about how new technological innovations will affect social life in most developed countries and how populations will be forced to adapt to the changes brought by this innovation. Therefore, computers and technology are seen as a two-sided weapon that creates arguments and conflicts between researchers and observers. Since the development of technology, whether or not computers benefit our lives has been a matter of debate.
