Essay / Chemical Corps Regiment - 1034
The United States Army regimental system was established to record all that the great soldiers before us have done while offering the greatest sacrifice. Showing us the facts about what this country has actually conquered. Each regiment aims to give us pride in what we fight for every day. Remind us why it is important to fight for what we believe in. It goes beyond logos and mottos. This is pretty much why your regimental crest symbol or colors were chosen. Why this particular profession is important and what roles it plays in our great military. The Chemical Regiment is so special because of its uniqueness and the fact that no other specialty in the military occupational group compares. Since the day the Chemical Corps was created, it has fought, proving the importance of its existence and showing the pride and knowledge of the dragon troopers. The Chemical Corps regiment was established on June 28, 1986. Once the regiment was established, it impressed upon the soldiers how important it was to keep the spirit alive. Although the regiment originated in 1986, records show that the Chemical Corps began 97 years ago during World War I. On August 15, 1917, General Order 108 of the War Department was read under the authority granted by Section 2 of the Act of Congress "authorizing the President to temporarily increase the military strength of the United States." United,” approved on May 18. The President ordered that the following special and technical engineering troops be organized, for the current period of emergency, the enlisted personnel being raised by voluntary enlistment or by conscription: For each army: A gas and flame service (a regiment). (Addison 1919) This new regiment was known today as "The Third...... middle of paper ......s". The Chemical Corps Regiment is perhaps one of the smallest in the United States Army. But never forget that we are not a force to play with, or even, more importantly, to have any doubts about. We direct the battle through ALL elements. Works Cited Addison, J.
