    Confucius is the great master of philosophy. He founded a new school based on the principles of benevolence and named it Confucianism. Confucius devoted his entire life to teaching and sharing knowledge and ideas. He spoke about the fundamental elements of achieving harmony. The important concepts of its learning are li, ren, junzi and tao and their observation makes a man fully literate. The rites or li allow men to develop goodness, to understand the Way. Confucius says that the purpose of rites is to give a place to stand, to provide a solid foundation like a body to fill. Thanks to the good practice of Li, man extends to Ren. And the Master is a leader who guides, step by step, his followers through the rites to the highest staircase: Knowledge and Goodness. Confucius often speaks of the Tao, meaning a right way or path to achieve morally higher goals. The Way is the search for benevolence and truth through the observation of Li and Ren.
