Men and women should always be considered equal, and one sex should never feel inferior to another. At the beginning of the 20th century, three women carried this message across Canada. Emily Murphy has played an important role in promoting equality between men and women. Likewise, Nellie McClung also took responsibility for encouraging gender equality.
