Essay / Problem of company resources - 1465
ASSIGNMENT – PERSONNEL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DILEMMA: Problem of use of company resources. The dilemma I have chosen here is “Corporate Resource Problem”. I have always been honest, trustworthy, punctual, with exceptional relationship management skills and proven abilities to forge business alliances for smoother operations. As a worker, I care about ethics because most of us prefer to work for ethical organizations. Therefore, the values that matter most are always being faithful and not liking people or events that do not match my thoughts. I value people who take a logical and systematic approach to solving problems and maintaining the highest quality standards while minimizing costs. The problem here is related to company resources. Here the co. employee Pat Brown, who files a claim for fraudulent expenses on the restaurant bill and doesn't even attend the conference one day. On the other hand, I consider myself an enthusiastic, highly motivated and hardworking person. I enjoy being part of the team as a contributing member and I expect the same from others. I respect my colleagues and I am proud of my work but here the colleague does not live up to the values that I describe above. I believe that Pat's unethical behavior may be a result of the company's weekly human resources policies. ACTION PLANS The two action plans that I would like to take in this situation for the well-being of the company and the employee will be described below: 1. To explain the ethical/moral values to PatAll First, I would like to address the situation by warning Pat that you have not done your job what he was asked to do (attend the week long seminar)...... middle of paper... . .. a moral judgment on this question. And will ask the manager to establish an intention to act based on the judgment, what he thinks is right in this case and will ultimately act in accordance with the manager's intention.
