In recent years, it has been observed that female models and actresses have become thinner, taller and younger. Professionals have claimed that these ideal body concepts can have negative effects on people. Several researches have also found evidence to support this point. This essay will examine these factors and explain how the ideal figures promoted by the media and the advertising industry could have a detrimental influence on the public in terms of psychological and health impact.
