Reading the data stored on the module can be done by polling, which is better suited to simple programs, or by interrupt, which is used in more advanced programming. Identification of the IP address of the modules allocated by the DHCP server, configuration of the ports and signal lines (input: TTL, CMOS, Schmitt Trigger or output), reading/writing on the ports and the use of EEPROM memory are additional programming options for the module. Some advanced programming for the module includes setting a fixed IP address, default power-on state, auto-scan mode, and reset the
