Essay / Tales of Creativity and Play by Tim Brown - 1844
The Vanishing Point was creative because it made me look at the board more and find the lines. Wolfflin's analysis made me look at a painting like I never had before. I had to really look at the heart of it and point out details that I had never thought of before. It was creative to look at all the art and take apart the details. I think the hermeneutic circle was the most creative. Putting pieces like that together was very creative. Taking a piece of art and applying it to a painting, then adding other elements to it to form a whole was very interesting. How the artist Seurat painted Sunday afternoon on the island of Grande Jatte. It was amazing how he would just draw one person, then draw a different person, then go home and put everyone together. The way he posed it was very creative.
