What constitutes proof? How has evidence and truth evolved/changed as society has progressed? Use examples to illustrate how the truth can be questioned as new ideas arise. Evidence is fundamental in science. It plays a role in proving the hypothesis. But what can be a piece of evidence? Aside from this, some “truths” or evidence once accepted by the world may be changed as society advances. The evolution of truth and evidence can be driven by a variety of factors. The most common example of using observational evidence may be when Galileo used the telescope to observe the four satellites of Jupiter in 1610.
