The concept of holiness between the two is important because they needed to know exactly how the gods broke down and recognized holiness. This was a major factor because it essentially set standards and laws for people who actually chose to worship. Basically, it doesn't depend on whether an act is holy or whether the act was something that was adopted by a particular god and made holy. In this article, I will explain how the concept of holiness is cultivated in discussion and why it occupies a prominent place between the two. As the debate progressed, Socrates began to question and ask Euthyphro for his definition of piety to better help him understand his reasoning.
