It is important to remain teachable before, during and after your leadership position. Leadership comes with great responsibility. I was fortunate to have a great work ethic, I was disciplined as a child and introducing that into my young adult years helped me a lot. My passion is early childhood, my passion is what drives me to be the leader I want to be. Every leader should want to lead where their followers excel. I can use this information now to gain knowledge in advance. And use it as teaching material. I learned that you don't have to gain experience and knowledge by learning the hard way. If you pay attention to what is placed in front of you, it will not take you a lifetime to learn. God has anointed teachers and preachers over us to tell us what to do and what not to do. I often visit thrift stores because I love reading books to learn and gain wisdom. This week I came across a large collection of workbooks and leadership books from John Maxwell. I'm going to take advantage of the summer to catch up on my reading. His writings have been a blessing to me and my family over the years. I pray to excel in servant leadership, even
