The government and the people should not consider the death penalty as costly. Comparing the loss of an innocent soul raped and murdered to money is irrational. Of course, DNA testing must be done before the judge makes the decision to send the criminal to death row. But this does not mean that capital punishment is inhumane. Criminals, murderers and rapists should have thought about their actions before committing their inhumane acts.
