    Could Jesus therefore be the Son of God? Once again, Jesus lived a life so noble, so amazing, and so loving that it was remembered by billions of people and was the center of a religion for thousands of years! If it was all a lie, why would a man die a horrible death for something he knew wasn't true? If he was mad, why was there never any indication in any secular writing that would affirm this truth? He lived a life worthy of what he preached and predicted his death and resurrection. Josh McDowell, in More than a Carpenter, presents the idea that Jesus and his story are all a mistake. He proposes that Jesus never existed and that the story was only created to spark an epidemic of religion. Apparently this view is very common among people who have not studied the Bible or Jesus very thoroughly. He answers this same question by assuming that it would take more than one Jesus to invent a Jesus. Who can create such a perfect, complete and engaging story? This story is about love and redemption and someone smarter than Aristotle would have struggled to create a story as enduring and infinite as
