    The evaluation process must be progressive to integrate overall planning and implement changes that contribute to success. To focus on school climate and standards, the assessment design should include students, instructions, and outcomes to improve communication and building-level concerns to be addressed in this response. School Climate and Social Norms The school principal, other staff leaders, and staff set the tone and climate of the organization. Dr Hunter said the learning environment should be positive, inviting, friendly, clean and safe. Visitors should feel welcomed upon entering the school building. Dr. Hunter emphasized that a positive learning environment celebrates the diversity of the school population. The positive learning environment reflects the culture, beliefs, and values ​​of the community, which are woven into the fabric of the school curriculum (Nolan, 2008). Dr. Hunter was certain that the school represented a learning environment that accepted and respected the attributes of all races, cultures, ethnicities, socioeconomics, genders, and students with disabilities. Hunter (personal communication, November 4, 2011), as director, and administrative staff stated that developing communication is critical to the success of this organization and community. It is important that administrative staff demonstrate a spirit of solidarity through school climate practices and activities as well as acceptance of the model. Dr Hunter believed it was important to ensure and encourage knowledge, collaboration, recognition and value of the individual. All students, including students with disabilities, are encouraged to participate in school programs and activities.
