    I first discovered my passion for computers in 1999 when we bought our first home computer. I remember occasionally sitting around waiting for Windows 98 to boot and for the dial-up modem to connect to the Internet. Although it almost seems primitive now, this technology sparked my enthusiasm for understanding the inner workings of computers. Since then, I have strived to expand my knowledge and skills in this field in every way possible. The world of technology has always intrigued me, from how microprocessors work to the complex programming behind hardware and software. My desire to understand how these functions work led to my intention to undertake a computer science course, and I took every opportunity available at school and college to further my knowledge in the subject. My choices for GCSE and A Level are reflected on the course. I would like to continue. At GCSE, as the closest subject to IT offered by my college, I chose ICT to continue to improve my IT skills and knowledge. Taking this course has proven to show both my commitment to my education...
