Our technological advancements in today's world have had a huge impact on our lives. Cell phones have become smaller, flatter and faster than those we got used to a few years ago. Even the computers that our older generations know are becoming more and more modernized. The fact is that technology has changed significantly, making our daily lives a little easier. As students, parents, teachers, and business people, we rely on our current technological expansions to help us accomplish our daily work. One of our most recent achievements in modernizing our technology is the E-Portfolio, short for electronic portfolio. People who are unfamiliar with them may ask, “What exactly is an e-wallet?” » Well, we can see that there are several definitions of what an electronic wallet is. I define an E-Portfolio as an Internet or Web-based information organization and management system that accumulates all professional work stored in an electronic file. This allows an E-Portfolio user to re-access or reflect on any file that has been saved at any time. It may seem that E-Portfolios are no longer used as often as they once were. Some people think they are missing or no longer available. This is not true. It's often thought that the hype around e-wallets has died down because they aren't really talked about like they were a few years ago or when they were first discovered. Indeed, most people are still very unaware of what electronic wallets are and what they are used for. E-wallets have become a necessity and a very important thing to have when it comes to managing computer files. Not only are they easily accessible, but in the middle of paper......easy access to their child's work as long as the E-Portfolio is accessible. (Barnstable)In conclusion, E-Portfolios are very useful. They help record an individual's academic or professional growth over a certain period of time, they are creative and useful in any context. Personally, I haven't had the chance to use an E-Portfolio, but I plan to do so soon. While doing my research on E-Portfolios, I learned a lot. Electronic portfolios are convenient when it comes to displaying and showcasing personal academic and professional achievements. They can tell a lot about a person just by what he shows in the electronic wallet. I am excited to begin my E-Portfolio journey and see myself progress over the years. It is important to be able to reflect on missions accomplished in the past. Working hard is never a bad thing; E-portfolios simply make presentation easier.
