    Human trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision or obtaining of a person for the purpose of commercial sex induced by force, fraud or coercion. It's a problem that women, children and men around the world face every day. It is the second largest and fastest growing criminal industry in the world, with annual revenues of $35 billion in the United States alone. To help victims of human trafficking who have nowhere to live after escaping or being rescued from their trafficker, shelter must be provided to ensure safety from former traffickers or other threats . Proper training of law enforcement is essential to identify traffickers and victims, as well as to prevent future trafficking. Increased education of law enforcement will result in a higher arrest rate of traffickers. Public awareness efforts such as media, awareness events, and seminars at local schools and community centers greatly increase public awareness. Slavery and human trafficking are illegal everywhere. However, they still occur everywhere. We now live in a world where human trafficking is the fastest growing activity. Can you imagine a twelve-year-old girl facing the harsh reality of serving people she doesn't know and doing things against her own will? It is very important to raise awareness in our society about trafficking in women and to train police officers so that they know how to arrest the perpetrators of these acts. induced by force, fraud or coercion. Poverty has even been shown to lead to a lack of education and knowledge, which leads to unemployment and then sex trafficking. By fighting poverty, we can help end sex trafficking. The moment people decide to care is the moment the world becomes a better place to live. We should all be part of the movement to end trafficking in women.!
