The question was explored by considering two perspectives regarding organ trade, i.e. the first perspective advocates the authorization of regulated trade in human body organs while the second seeks to prohibit the trade in human organs. The essay illustrates the importance of viewing human dignity as multidimensional, as humans are rational and spiritual beings who live in social contexts, maintain interpersonal relationships, and have moral standards that have evolved over generations. Therefore, any attempts to increase the supply of organs to the human body must evaluate the effects of these measures on humans.
