This is the only solution because space exploration today is limited to the places we can go. Overpopulation is a serious problem. It is a problem that will begin to haunt humanity today and will continue into the distant future if nothing is done about it. If each couple had only one child, the population would be controlled. And, if possible, only people who can actually feed the baby should have them. Slum dwellers should not reproduce if the child grows up in poverty and malnutrition. Even though humans have the right to give birth, that doesn't mean they should. Just as children have the right to grow up to be better, not to have to live in such conditions. This is why population control must exist. Not for the people of yesteryear, but for the future of humanity
