The definition of what makes a perfect supervisor will of course vary in its definition and interpretation from person to person. However, there are four main points that most people will agree on that make a supervisor stand out above the rest. A supervisor should always strive to be as ethical and moral as possible in their decisions. This will lead his subordinates to respect his decisions more often even if they do not always agree with him. Another characteristic of a respectable supervisor is their ability to perform even the most menial tasks to earn the respect of their employees. A fundamental point of an excellent supervisor is not to be the boss of the employees but to be the leader of the employees. The last main point of being a good supervisor is to show employees that you are human too. If you can master all of these points, you will be a much more successful businessman and a more valued employee of the company. Ethics is a key asset for a supervisor because if you show your employees from time to time that you stick to core values and don't skimp on project goals, your employees and your supervisor will be more likely to support you. support and put their skin on the line for you, metaphorically speaking. Morality in business has been shown to increase employee satisfaction with the company, reduce employee turnover rates and therefore increase productivity. The sad reality of most supervisors these days is that they think that because they are above lower-ranking employees, they should not have to perform any menial tasks that are below their position in the job. company and that this work must be carried out by their subordinates. This type of leadership is flawed in that it makes the employer weak, but also more likely to alienate the worker, which could lead to higher turnover rates and decreased worker productivity. However, there are some fairly wise supervisors who can realize their faults and are much better to them. My manager Eric Lokken is one of them.
