Essay / Reflection on Self-Reflection - 2246
Strict adherence to deadlines, tight schedules and workplace rigidity limit and hinder my progress in decision-making. Although I am adaptable, I must have the goal in mind to stay focused; otherwise, I can get lost in conversations and debates within a group. Because I'm an information seeker, I don't jump to conclusions; this is likely due to the enjoyment of verbal jousting and debating ideas (M. Beavers, personal communication, June 25, 2016). As an ENTP, I must make a concerted effort to stay focused on the current reality of a situation and intentionally design a plan of action. Otherwise, I will remain very engaged and enthusiastic in my own thinking, which will sometimes lead to delays in achievements. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses related to my personality preferences provided by the MBTI has undoubtedly provided me with valuable information in my thinking about my leadership.
