    Animal Farm AnalysisAnimal Farm is an allegorical novel written by George Orwell and published on August 17, 1945. This book reflects the events of the Russian Revolution and the Soviet Union. Orwell was opposed to the idea of ​​Stalinism which he would later use in his book. As an outspoken critic of the Soviet Union, he decided to write a book based on it and disguised the characters as animals. He believed that revolutions were useless because they resulted in a corruption of the nature of power. Orwell had publication problems even though the book could not only be applied to the Russians but also to any government in the world. For this reason, no publisher wanted to publish the book Animal Farm. The original title of Animal Farm was Animal Farm: A Fairy Story, this subtitle was dropped by the publisher. There were a lot of variations for the title. While the book focuses on the Russian Revolution of 1917, it depicts the end of monarch rulers. By writing about this specific topic, he managed to write this as a fairy tale with a political objective. Communism, which appears as animalism in the novel, was based on the ideas of a German philosopher known as Karl Marx, also known as Old Major. Joseph Stalin was a dictator of the USSR. Stalin had transformed a small, poor society into a military superpower then called the Soviet Union. He was capable of ruling through terror, does that mean anything to you?
