I want art to be taken seriously because it helps children's thinking and problem solving, which can help them in all subjects and their lifestyle. Subjects ranging from maths to English have already incorporated art into their teaching by carrying out hands-on projects that help students better understand the subject. So I think art should do the same. My goal as an art teacher is to inform my students about their environment and the different cultures around them, to allow them to explore the possibilities of artistic careers, and to show them how art can help them become best.
