Raising a child can be overwhelming for any working father and mother, but it's an even more daunting task when there's only one parent to take on this mission. I applaud all parents who juggle and multitask their lives to provide a balanced and enriching life for their children, but I must still remain objective. I can say I speak from knowledge because I have female friends and family members who are taking on this challenge single-handedly. Being a parent has made me realize that there is no one plan that works for everyone, but there is definitely a desired outcome:; children who become caring, independent and productive members of society. Through my observations, I came to the conclusion that single mothers spoil their children with undeserved gifts, give their children too much freedom, and let their children get away with uncorrected bad behavior. The most apparent form of indulgence I witnessed was the purchase of an undeserved gift given by my cousin to her teenage son. In my cousin's case, she gave her son the latest iPhone of the time, even after his death....
