In this essay, I would like to discuss the change that party activists today are motivated by deliberate incentives from different aspects, including its influence on today's political issues and elections. Generally speaking, the incentives of party activists evolve from material incentives to solidarity incentives. to deliberate incentives today. Thirty years ago, it was thought that party activists worked for parties either because of material incentives or because of solidarity incentives. For party activists who worked for parties because of these material incentives, they worked in order to obtain tangible benefits like jobs or money if the party won in elections. For party activists who have worked through solidarity incentives, what they want from parties are more intangible rewards like friendship and networking.
