I believe that freedom of choice, racial discrimination and modernity are the three main reasons why people lose their cultural identity. People do not care about their traditional costumes like the caste system, they face racial discrimination in schools and workplaces. Nowadays, the new generation likes to dress up like Disney characters, they don't listen to traditional music. Although America is the land of opportunity, people believe that they can change themselves and live their lives the way they want. Sometimes people have to adopt American culture because they want to fit in.
