Often people feel hopeless because they don't like where they come from. Others judge them because of their origin. Some people don't care what others say, they love their home community and will not leave where they live because they feel they belong there. In Benjamin Percy's "Invasion", he shows his anger towards others who come to his hometown of Bend, Oregon, because he feels some kind of invasion that is transforming his town by others. In "The Barrio" by Robert Ramirez, he describes his colorful neighborhood, which means that every house has its own story and he would not leave his neighborhood for any reason because he loves it.
