Musical MasonsThe maximum display case designed by Trevor Blair had outlined the musical rhythm of 2010. Trevor, owner/CEO of Revolutionary Entertainment, is planning his own musical revolution. Each band fits the larger picture of the audience experiencing music on a personal level. Many spectators did not immediately realize they were in a Masonic home. The master of ceremonies chose a setting worthy of the love of music. Ben Franklin was a great teacher and founding father of America who did more than just be a scientist. He also enjoyed the pleasure of invention as an author and ambassador to France. Franklin was known for playing the guitar, violin, harp, and for being skilled in composing music for string sections. One of his inventions was the self-rotating glass harmonica, reflecting his passion for the arts. The Scottish Rite Event Center in Long Beach, California, provided a setting rich in history and tradition for the music festival. The esoteric society opened its doors to music lovers where all types of music lovers came together under one roof. Freemasonry is all about brotherhood and audiophiles feel like a family united by three stages hosting diverse bands from across the great state of California to Nashville, Tennessee. The six degrees of separation puts bands and their fans on the same level, allowing everyone to have fun safely. Music is a central aspect of the Masonic world. Mozart's promotion to Journeyman Mason and then Master Mason helped shape his character. He was not only associated with one lodge, but he was also welcomed into all lodges as a brother. Sugarcult acquired the concert through a mutual friend and concertgoers were able to enjoy a concert hall that doubles as a historical monument. Many Masonic members run large businesses, but the structural design redefines the idea of having to have a festival by reinforcing what constitutes art. The Scottish Rite Events Center certainly meets the goal of serving the community by proving that esoteric societies do not exclude the public. In fact, this lodge encourages the growth of community members. The architecture alone is a testament to the fact that the style of the 20s still remains young.
