Essay / new media - 1200
Digital/technological/new media and structural changes are affecting the broadcasting landscape. This is a huge change in terms of media worldwide. This rapid change is increasingly possible via the Internet and many wireless devices. People now spend more time on the Internet than in front of the television. New media are becoming a major challenge in the broadcasting landscape. New media are giving rise to all the competition and opportunities all over the world. It has changed the way people interact, the way all communities are grouped together, the way all good and bad ideas are shared and of course communication too. Marketing and advertising are much easier thanks to the internet, television and radio broadcasting are becoming obsolete as young people are empowered through the power of the internet and new media. Brands are focusing more on the power of technology and developing strategies to become masters of this competitive world. This is changing the new media culture from top to bottom. We have already seen so many changes in today's world, all these sites like Vimeo, Youtube and many others have already created a lot of traffic on the Internet. Technology has opened all doors for the young generation to create, share, upload and obtain new vision. Social networks also contribute a lot to this change. People began to realize that such involvement of technology was leading them towards aggressive individualism, which would be a big problem in the future. With all old forms of media, viewers were forced to wait for missed episodes of any TV series or even for news and movies, and now with all technology, they can stream/download any what a missed thing and watch it. Media content, as it was years ago, is just paper. Connections can access any of the thousands of TV channels around the world that are streamed. Most television networks and movie distributors have already started broadcasting high-definition shows over the Internet. Most information in the form of text, video and audio is immediately available to the majority of the world's population. In my opinion, the future of digital/technological/new media and structural changes are unpredictable but there will be more competition than today. and past. This industry is really growing very fast, so I don't even think there will be a decline in this industry, it will continue to develop new media and continue to entertain viewers/consumers. I hope these changes will bring new dimensions to the industry with more opportunities for creators to showcase their true talent..
