Reforms in the private and public sectors that will benefit those who need them. My goal is to find different ways to improve the well-being of people within society, especially those who are financially disadvantaged. Find solutions to improve the quality of life of people likely to live a socially good life. One specific solution is to consider reforming the criminal justice system, which throughout history has played a significant role in the destruction of communities. Criminal justice has had major consequences in destroying certain communities. As a career goal, I would like to play an instrumental role in reforming this system, thereby leading to a safer and more advanced society. I realized growing up in school and church that I was a natural helper and always do my best to help those in need. One specific thing I did growing up and in college was volunteering my time at the local soup kitchen to feed the hungry. Naturally, I am a helper and I always want society to progress and see our communities improve not only for now but for future generations. If you accept your social work graduate program, it will be the beginning of my goal of helping the lives of those around me and in general.
