Death is a central topic of conversation that individuals and society discuss when analyzing the meaning of life. It is an aspect of life that everyone must, at some point, become familiar with. There is one thing that every living being can be sure of: “I will die eventually.” This article will examine a number of issues that can arise when an individual reflects on their own mortality. All living organisms have a beginning and an end. Tomorrow is promised to everyone. Death is an inevitable and definitive part of life. Death is the end of life. Death comes in two forms:1. Expected2. UnexpectedAn expected death may result from terminal illness, age, or self-inflicted death. This form of death means that individuals know in advance when their death will occur. Life-threatening illnesses, when identified in advance, allow people to organize their deaths by putting their affairs in order. They can achieve this by repairing broken relationships and bidding farewell to loved ones. An expected death gives everyone involved the opportunity to slowly adjust to the idea of death and reconcile. Unfortunately, not everyone experiences an expected death. Many deaths occur suddenly and without warning. An unexpected death is sudden, surprising, violent, damaging, random and unpredictable. Sudden death can take many forms, such as strokes, heart attacks, aneurysms, accidents, post-operative complications, and sudden infant death syndrome, to name a few. This form of death has tragic consequences for friends and family. Unlike an expected death, mourners do not have the opportunity to say goodbye.
