    In the ancient land of Rome lies the broken face of a man. This statue, made of icy stone, represents a man who built one of the most formidable empires in human history, while paving the way for its eventual downfall. As the morning sun rises over the horizon in a burst of glory, the statue illuminates and reveals the somewhat melancholy ivy that slowly envelops the forgotten emperor. Next to the statue, hanging on a crumbling stone wall, is a painting of the city that once stood tall and proud. The painting depicts a beautiful scene that shows a joyful crowd watching in awe as colossal wooden galleons triumphantly enter the city on a river. You look at the painting and as you look deeper, you find yourself transported back in time, to a long lost empire. A figure stands tall, majestic and proud. Having ruled for many decades, he is happy and satisfied with his achievements. Emperor of all he observes, he is both arrogant and proud. The buildings, bridges and bathhouses all arise from his imagination and the once tired city comes to life and showcases its magnificence. ...
