Throughout the 21st century, technology has advanced, which has made society lazy. Most people tend to spend most of their time sitting in front of these new devices. This inactivity has become a real problem, as shown by the increase in several diseases and conditions: such as obesity, cancer and cardiovascular diseases. The 23.5 Hours video offers a solution to this problem. Their research found that 30 minutes of exercise a day can significantly reduce a person's risk of developing any of the diseases mentioned in the video. I will attempt to show why the 23.5 hour video is important and how it applies to me personally. Research in the 23.5 Hours video shows that quality of life increases with exercise. With just 30 minutes of exercise a day, the quality of life is much better than without any exercise. Because of this improvement in quality of life, it is important for society to watch this video. Another benefit of exercise, as shown in the 23.5 hour video, is reduced risk of many diseases and conditions. With 30 minutes of exercise per day, the risk of diabetes can decrease by 58%, as shown in the research shown in the video. Throughout the 23.5 hour video, many different examples showed how 30 minutes of exercise per day can be beneficial. This issue of exercise becomes very important because the likelihood of a person developing one of these diseases has increased significantly. The general level of health in society today is very poor, which is why it is crucial that everyone in society is informed of this information. These are the main reasons why we, as a society, should exercise. The best reason I can give for why you should exercise would be that exercise can increase the length of your life. This should be reason enough for you to want to exercise. Finally, the main thing I would take away from the 23.5 hour video would be the impact that daily exercise can have on your life. Society should understand the importance of exercise in relation to one's life.
