Essay / Supernatural Phenomena - 1273
God is commonly considered the supernatural creator and overseer of the universe. It is conceived as being an intangible source of all moral obligations. Virtually all Scripture refers to some experience of its supernatural phenomenon. Of course, the Bible is no exception to these experiences. The role in history and the creation of the world in the Bible conceives God as being a supernatural deity distinct from “natural creation”. Overall, the supernatural phenomena described in the Bible are the actions taken by God as He attempts to influence history and determine the fate of His creation. It is through careful study of this phenomenon that we can discover biblical concepts about the nature of our supernatural divinity. Comparing this supernatural phenomenon, it becomes clear that this is a remarkable progressive change in the nature of the biblical God and his relationship with humanity. It is this evolution of the biblical God – or more precisely of the concept of God – which brings about the change in the role of the supernatural in the Bible. But does everyone understand the term “supernatural”? To better define it, the word “supernatural” simply means “above the natural”. Science covers what is physical. If something is physical, it can be measured and described mathematically. If one were to say that the “supernatural” is that which is unexplained, then of course God is supernatural. This certainly applies to God. Of course, it is neither physical, nor measurable, nor mathematically describable, which places it outside the realm of scientific study. We will argue this view by exploring naturalism versus supernaturalism, visions of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit among Christians. nature. Even those who believe in evolution cannot offer a reasonable explanation for how life began in our world. Evolution, like the “Big Bang” theory, is based on an underlying supernatural hypothesis: the hypothesis that a supernatural God triggered the “Big Bang”. This leads to the fact that only a supernatural power could have created the original matter that was the source of the “Big Bang” and kick-started life as we know it. God offers an explanation of the natural and the supernatural that man-made doctrines do not account for. Additionally, Jesus showed them the power of the supernatural through miracles and the defeat of his physical body in the face of death, resurrection. “But we look not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are invisible are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).”
