'I've been feeling weird all day.' Shawn thought as he lay on the hospital bed, fully awake. Hearing a sound, Shawn's head shot up. “It looks like someone is coming, wait, it looks like more than one person is coming.” I count two. Huh, it's weird, it's 3:30 in the morning and the nurse already came through here on her rounds half an hour ago, weird. Shawn thought surprised. The footsteps were getting closer to his room so Shawn closed his eyes pretending to sleep. "He's not sleeping," said a deep male voice that made Shawn's heart skip a beat. “Look at his heart monitor, Lilith; this proves that he is awake. Said the man. Shawn heard light feminine footsteps approaching his bed and a hand grabbed his chin with one hand and a slightly damp cloth was placed over his nose and mouth with the other. One of them was a white wolf with a black patch of fur on its left ear. The other was a black wolf with a white patch of fur on its right ear. (He smells like a wolf but looks like one. We can't hurt one of us.) said the white wolf to his companion. The black wolf seemed to scowl at the other wolf. (He's not one of our Teranis. He looks human, so he must be human.) The black wolf replied sarcastically. (Don't deny his brother scent. He smells like us. The only human I can smell is the child. The laws state that we cannot harm another wolf, Ferangal. Also, we have lent oath not to harm a child, even if he is human, when we became guardians of the forest.) brother patiently. Ferangal huffed in annoyance but nodded. (Good brother, we will watch them because they are still unconscious.) The black wolf growled.
