    Since 2008, there has been a financial debt crisis affecting the majority of states in the world. However, the most disastrous economic declines have been seen on the European continent. This is why this crisis is widely known as the European sovereign debt crisis. The objective of this paper, however, is to analyze and discern possible policies aimed at providing a set of solutions that could help the Greek government with regard to its financial debt within the broader European crisis. Thus, future analyzes and policies will mainly focus on Greek public debt management and recommended policies. Additionally, the document will provide a summary of the economic crisis and the implications of the international community (mainly the European Union and the International Monetary Fund). The Greek crisis is the result of an accumulation of disastrous political errors. It all started when previous Greek governments decided not to reveal their debts and deficits in order to fulfill the conditions for joining the Eurozone. Additionally, the government engaged in massive tax evasion as well as corruption. In 2009, the newly elected Greek government decided to reveal real debt and deficit figures, which sparked many waves of speculative speculation about the economy. Currently (since 2010), a number of organizations and countries provide the Greek state with assistance to alleviate its public debt. International organizations, such as the International Monetary Fund and Europe's governing body, the European Union, are subject to a series of policies intended to help Greece with its debt crisis.
