Education in our country is in crisis, and in order to confront the problem, we must address it at the center. We must target school boards; they control funds, education and more or less the community. With school boards now counterproductive, it seems there is only one way to solve the problem. Get rid of school boards across the country and give each school its individual power, much like private schools, or initiate the creation of a nationwide school board. With the entire nation on the same page, perhaps together we can help save education and secure the future of our country. Only when something is done at school boards will there be a positive and productive change towards education.
