    TECHNOPRENEURIntroduction: One of the most famous living legends and technopreneurs in India is Mr.NRNarayana Murthy (Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy). Narayana Murthy is Executive Chairman of Infosys Limited, a global software consulting company headquartered in Bangalore, India. He founded Infosys in 1981, served as CEO from 1981 to 2002, chairman and chief mentor from 1981 to 2011, and chairman emeritus from August 2011 to May 2013. Under his leadership, Infosys was listed on the NASDAQ in 1999. Infosys is an Indian multinational corporation engaged in the provision of business consulting, technology, engineering and outsourcing services. Biodata: Narayana Murthy was born on August 20, 1946 in Mysore, Karnataka. He graduated in 1967 in BE Electrical Engineering from NIE Mysore and in 1969 he completed his MSc from IIT Kanpur. Career: Narayana Murthy started his career at IIM Ahmedabad as a Chief Systems Programmer and he worked on India's first time-sharing computer system and designed a BASIC interpreter for ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited). Infosys was not Narayana Murthy's first entrepreneurial venture. At first, he started a company named Softronics. But he did not succeed at that time; this failed after about a year and a half, he joined Patni Computer Systems in Pune in 1977. He married Sudha in his house on 10 February 1978. His wife Mrs. Sudha Murthy is a social worker. Growth and development of Infosys: Narayana Murthy had great vision but zero capital. And his wife Mrs. Sudha Murthy gave him full support as Murthy was very passionate about creating good quality software.
